Frederick L. Hargrove is President, CEO and founder of Contract Infinity Group (CIG), a government contracting consulting firm specializing in securing contracts for companies. With clients across the United States, CIG provides consulting and marketing solutions packages to companies seeking to sell their commercial products and services to federal, state and local governments.

A seasoned federal procurement and contract expert, Mr. Hargrove worked for the General Services Administration (GSA) for eighteen years. As a former GSA Contracting Officer, Mr. Hargrove was responsible for developing, administering and awarding million dollar contracts. While at GSA, he received the Regional Administrator award for excellence in government contracting for three consecutive years.

Mr. Hargrove is currently an instructor at the Economic Development and Training Institute in Camp Springs, Maryland. Mr. Hargrove has taught workshops for the Maryland Small Business Development Center. Mr. Hargrove has participated in a workshop as a panel member with the Congressional Black Caucus during its Annual Legislative Conference. He has also participated in numerous small business and procurement conferences as a presenter. Mr. Hargrove has established relationships with both government and industry. He is currently a member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).

Mr. Hargrove has appeared as a guest on the Coach Lynn Johnson Motivational Radio Show which is an international syndicated radio show which focuses on current and political issues.

Mr. Hargrove has appeared as a guest on the Cathy D and Rudy C Show which is a popular radio show that focuses on business issues and entrepreneurship. Contract Infinity Group was nominated for the 2009 Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise Awards.

Mr. Hargrove is a self published author of two books. His first novel, “All That Glitters Is Not Gold,” is a very popular and on demand at local bookstores. His second novel “Caught Red Handed” is a sequel to his first book. Mr. Hargrove is currently working on his third book which is scheduled to be released in late fall of 2009 entitled “In Pursuit of a Government Contract: How to sell your products and services to the Federal Government”.

Mr. Hargrove earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts in Boston and received a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of the District of Columbia. He also attended Northeastern University Graduate School of Public Administration located in Boston.

Contract Infinity Group (CIG) is a Government Contracting Consulting firm specializing in providing consulting and marketing services to companies seeking to sell their commercial products and services to federal, state and local governments. CIG’s primary mission is to assist companies in acquiring government contracts and more specifically, the General Services Administration’s (GSA) Schedule contract. The GSA Schedule contract is the primary contract vehicle used by federal agencies to purchase products and services. The GSA Schedules are a comprehensive, categorical offering of almost every product and service available. These Schedule contracts are long term Government-wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC) containing pre-negotiated prices, delivery terms, warranties, and other terms and conditions. It is CIG’s goal to help businesses improve their financial bottom line and become more competitive in the federal market place.

CIG has a team of professional consultants with over 20 years of government contracting and procurement experience. Many of our consultants are highly skilled negotiators with technical backgrounds such as Project Managers, Proposal Specialists, Cost Analysts and Technical Writers. The President of CIG is a former GSA Contracting Officer with over 18 years of contracting experience in multiple award schedules and information technology related procurements. This vast experience enables CIG to better understand the contracting needs of our clients thereby facilitating the acquisition of a GSA Schedule.
